One thing that I absolutely love about family sessions is getting to help my clients pick out their outfits! As a mom of 4 myself I know the task to pick good quality items that also coordinate color wise is so daunting at times especially when you have kids to think about. But it doesn’t have to be! Part of working with me as your photographer is having a family guide with styling information sent to you upon booking with me, as well as access to my client closet that I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on to give my clients access to beautiful good quality pieces. However, I do often get questions from other photographers and friends about the dresses I have bought, so I thought I would compile a little list of stores I often shop at! This can also be referred to after you’ve booked your session with me and are excited to go shop for your outfits, but don’t know where to start.
Here are a list of shops that I frequently get my client closet items from:
Baltic Born has a very diverse range of dresses for women of all sizes and at affordable prices too! I have a handful of dresses from this shop and the quality is amazing. Just make sure to read the reviews from previous customers to see what size you should get! Here’s an example of some sessions where my client wore a dress from Baltic Born (these are all in my client closet):
Free People is great if you’re looking for something with more of a boho feel! These dresses are a little more on the artistic side so some are a little funky, but I’ve found multiple dresses at this shop that I love! Here are a couple of my favorites:
VICI Collection is another shop I’m obsessed with! I have a good handful of dresses from their site and it’s more on the side of Baltic Born’s pricing. These may seem pricey to some but I promise the quality is worth it! Especially compared to the handmade gowns I purchase. Here are some of my favorites:
The last shop I love especially if you also need something for a younger girl, is Joyfolie! I have one dress I’m obsessed with in particular for women, but I do own a few for younger girls too (especially for my own daughters of course) and here’s one of my more popular ones (the white dress)!
